How do I change the colors, background wallpaper and settings of my desktop?

You've had your computer for a while and, quite frankly, the "Bliss" wallpaper is getting irritating. The question is, how do you change it?

Luckily for you, changing the look of your desktop is easy. Just right-click on an empty space and choose "Properties" from the pop-up menu. Click on the "Desktop" tab in the window that appears.

In this section, you'll see a picture of a computer monitor showing your current desktop pattern in it. Below it, you'll see options for setting a plain background color or setting a desktop pattern.

Along with those options, you'll see a "Browse" button so you can find another picture on your computer to use as a desktop wallpaper.

Finally, there are some third party programs out there that can switch up your wallpaper at intervals you can specify. One thing to consider, if you go that route, these programs run continuously, so they can eat up system resources.
