How do I rename a disk or drive?

If you aren't happy with the name of a drive, you can rename it to something else.

Right-click on the drive and choose "Rename" from the pop-up menu that appears. Now, type in a new name for the drive in the highlighted area. That's all there is to it!

You can use this same procedure to rename any file or document on your computer - just be careful not to rename any system files as this could cause problems with your computer.

One other note, some systems limit the length of file and drive names. In addition, names of drives other computers see over a network can't be very long. For best compatability between systems and to avoid problems, keep drive and file names under 16 characters.
