Why Widescreen?

Should I choose a processor from Intel or AMD?
Most computer manufacturers offer either Intel (Pentium) or AMD (Athlon) processors. A few offer both. It doesn't matter much which brand you choose for your processor. Either brand will provide excellent performance. Don't be thrown by the fact that AMD processors tend to be a bit less expensive than Intel devices. If money is tight, this can be a great way to save money. The key with choosing a processor is picking the best one you can afford that also works with your motherboard. Since different models of processors fit in different slot configurations, you'll need to know what your motherboard will accept.
