How do I replace or upgrade the hard drive in a TiVo?
Since a basic TiVo only holds 35 hours of video, you may want more space. You can find detailed upgrade instructions here. Be aware that most DVRs won't support drives larger than 137GB. If you upgrade to a larger drive, the extra space will be ignored.
