GENERAL INFO.
Can I remove commercials from shows I wish to record to DVD?
While you can't use a set-top DVD recorder to remove commercials from your recordings, you can with a computer DVD recorder.

A computer can utilize video editing software, so you can remove any unwanted content before you burn a DVD. Most programs for the home sell for $100 or less, so editing your video doesn't need to be expensive. These programs usually include DVD burning capabilities, including creating custom menus.
