Can I get a DVR for satellite TV?
Just like with cable, you can get a DVR for satellite TV. Like their cable counterparts, they offer dual tuners to allow to recordings at once.

Satellite DVRs are available in both HD and SD versions. Like cable devices, satellite DVRs have built in tuners, so no extra programming box is required.

You will need to run a line for each tuner, since you can't use a splitter like you can with cable.
